Terrorist Killed In J&Ok’s Tral Offered Cover-Outs To Overseas Jaish Terrorists: High Cop

High Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) commander terrorist Sham Sofi, who was killed in an encounter that broke out at Tilwani Mohalla within the Tral space of Awantipora of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, used to supply shelter and hide-out to overseas Jaish terrorists, stated Kashmir Inspector-Normal of Police (IGP) Vijay Kumar.

Speaking to ANI, the IGP knowledgeable that neutralised terrorist Shamim Sofi aka Sham Sofi was the highest native commander of the JeM.

“The terrorist killed in Tral encounter has been recognized as Shamim Sofi aka Sham Sofi. He was the highest native commander of the Jaish-e-Mohammed. He was first arrested in 2004 and spent 2 years in jail below the Jammu and Kashmir Public Security Act, 1978 (PSA). He turned energetic after popping out of jail,” knowledgeable Mr Kumar.

Calling the encounter a giant achievement for safety forces in that space, the IGP stated, “In June 2019, he turned completely energetic and was concerned in lots of killings. He used to supply shelter and hide-out to overseas Jaish terrorists. It’s a massive achievement for safety forces in that space. We’re looking out the realm for one more terrorist.”

Earlier on Wednesday, Sham Sofi was killed in an encounter that broke out at Tilwani Mohalla within the Tral space of Awantipora of Jammu and Kashmir, stated IGP Kashmir, Vijay Kumar.

Police and safety forces are on the job.
